Our corporate project ME and Shahar Elias 

On Valentine's Day, the fashion event "Lessons in Love" was held at the Holon Design Museum - the closing event of the "From A to Z" course. The result of a collaboration between the museum and the department of fashion design in Shankar, took place during the first semester at the same time as the exhibition "Albert Elbaz: The Dream Factory".

The starting point for the project was the work “A Goldsmith in His Shop”by Petrus Christus, which deals with same-sex relationships between men in the Northern Renaissance. To enrich the visual world, we crossed the piece with the works of the sculptor Graham Caldwell, who deals with reflectivity and allows viewers of his works to observe them from several perspectives. This is how we came to use mirror fragments. We wanted to say that gender can also be looked at from several angles, and that the binary division belongs to the past.
